MISSION STATEMENT:
I am just an individual living on disability who is concerned for the welfare of these unfortunate cats. I am seeking assistance with cat food supplies and financial donations to cover medical expenses for the sick and injured cats that I rescue, perform TNR (trap-neuter-return), and rehome when possible. Despite the saying that cats have nine lives, they still need help and protection. So, please support our efforts to save as many of them as possible would be appreciated.
Many people inquire about our commitment to feeding cats daily, regardless of the weather conditions. The answer is straightforward: it is necessary. These cats face significant challenges.
This mission was inspired the efforts of individuals from the local community such as ROC KATS (About us - RocKats) and Habitat for Cats ( https://habitatforcats.com/). Daily efforts provide them with essential nourishment and safety. Unlike cats in homes or shelters awaiting adoption, these cats do not have the same opportunities. Our continued presence ensures their sustenance and conveys that they are not forgotten and are valued. This act of care underscores the principle that caring for those overlooked is always important.
++ Guardian Heals is an organization that has supported me for several years, and we have now partnered to establish a rescue operation for sick and injured cats in Rochester.

Notice: Volunteers Needed for Animal Rescue!!
We are urgently seeking dedicated volunteers to assist with the transportation of sick and injured animals, as well as to help rescue animals that may be stranded in the cold weather. Your support can make a significant difference in the lives of these vulnerable animals.
Responsibilities:
- Transporting sick and injured animals to veterinary clinics or shelters.
- Rescuing animals that are exposed to harsh weather conditions.
- Providing basic care and comfort to rescued animals.
Requirements:
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- A compassionate and patient attitude towards animals. (Yes, even when we get scratched or bit)
- Ability to handle animals safely and gently.

WHEN A CAT NEEDS IMMEDIATE HELP:
Cat in Visual Distress and in Need of Immediate Medical Attention:
- Behavioral Signs: A cat in visual distress may exhibit unusual behaviors such as hiding, excessive grooming, or aggression. They may also show signs of lethargy, lack of appetite, or difficulty breathing.
